What is it that you think such an Add-In should do that the Kindle App does not?

I have been using it since October. It's the KINDLE ADD ON FOR MS WORD. It gets on the menu bar as "Kindle" I'll send you a pic if I can.
Thanks for trying anyway.

You tell me you've been using it since October.
Why did you ask to have it provided, then?
In what way is it different from the Kindle App for the PC. How does involving Word do anything?

This is KDP an Add on that gets embedded in MS WORD. I am an author. I asked to have it provided because it was deleted and I can't find it now.
Thanks for trying in any case.

Kindle for PC allows you to read Kindle books. The add-in the OP refers to is apparently for creating Kindle books in Microsoft Word. Google finds posts from a year or two ago about a "Kindle Create add-in for Word," but it seems to have been a beta version, and perhaps it was discontinued in favor of the freestanding Kindle Create, which imports Word documents and formats them.

Yes I know the difference. I had been using the add-in I had suspected as much since it showed it was (Beta), a testing stage.
Thanks for confirming. Big mistake on KDP's part. Without it there is a lot more the author has to worry about, Kindel Create is too cumbersome. Easier just to format yourself and with Fiverr. Formating is a bigger deal than you can imagine if you are not putting a book together to upload at Amazon both kindle and paperback.
but still doable. There are a lot of people that will do it on Fiverr.
Good Luck, now.

FWIW, I found Calibre extremely confusing the only time I tried to use it, with very unsatisfactory results.
