How Rare Is The Kiss 1980 Maybelline Makeup Bag

Every bit many of you would know, when KISS toured Commonwealth of australia in 1980 they were so massive that many products came out exclusively downunder to coincide with the tour. Hither are some of the things I remember having/seeing as a kid :

These "Disco Bags" were available at the Royal Show in 1979, 1980 and 1981. I got one all iii years, but could never complete the set up of masks because Osculation weren't absurd in Oz past 1982 and they discontinued them. They had a affiche, a mask, an iron on transfer, a badge and a haircomb (Gene's dragon boot !) I would kill to take a complete one of these !

This giant poster was put out by TV Week. I side featured a group shot and the other was a serial of stories and manufactures on the ring.

KISS Gold coins...well, golden colored anyway ! Don't recall much nearly these other than I didn't have them and I wanted them ! The other side of the coin featured the Kiss logo. These have been re-issued recently I believe, only the original 1980 ones are worth big dollars.

These bags were available everywhere during the bands summit years. The reverse side featured a grouping shot with Eric Carr on drums. I only e'er had the Gene ane.

Perhaps the rarest and most unique of all of the Aussie merchandise were the Kiss ice blocks. The frozen ice block had nada actually to do with KISS, it was all virtually the wrapper, which featured each band member on the back. I consumed many of these during the summer of 1980 !

And finally these Chu Bops were a pocket-sized slice of pink chimera gum shaped like a record, and the lyrics to SHANDI on the back cover. They also had other artists (Kate Bush, Diana Ross etc). I'g not sure if these were Australian only only I do recollect them as a kid growing upwards and then I idea I would include them on this trip down merchandise memory lane !

Well I hope yous enjoyed checking out some of these rare items. It was fun searching places like Google and eBay to find these images because I often stumbled upon other cool Kiss related images and merchandise. KISS were and so massive in Commonwealth of australia back and so. Front end page news every twenty-four hour period for weeks ! Such an incredible time to be a young KISS fan.
